Rather than trying to choose a few photos of our trip to share with you, I decided to create a Shutterfly album with all my "keeper" photos in roughly chronological order. Those of you interested in viewing them can go here. Let me know if this works, and if you like this option more or less than lots of photos in a blog post.
BTW, a wildflower identification book is on my wish list. We saw even more wildflowers than pictured while driving to and from the site, but didn't want to stop to take photos. The trip was long enough as it was!

I think this might be a useful tool for extraordinarily picture-heavy posts. I do hope you'll keep putting up small handfuls directly here from time to time.

Last night at the auction, an Australian saddle sold for $30! Perfect, only needed a girth.
