You've come to talk to me again!

Hope you are just talking (er, singing flowers) there Michelle. It's a beauty, but hope the darkness stays away for awhile!
Tammy
Oooo is that Queen of the Night? Beautiful, I always love the black flowers! I need to get me one of them!
Just flowers, Tammy, although the song is hauntingly beautiful (love S&G!).
Rayna, I don't know the names of most of my iris, since they came from a neighbor's "dividing exercise." That black one sure is striking, though; isn't it? Hard to get a decent photo of it -- just like black lambs!
Michelle! I would LOVE some 'dividing exercise' methods used so I can get a small sample of each of your glorious irises! I'll make sure to bring some of mine for you as well!
I've not divided mine yet, Garrett, so I don't know how or when to go about it. Can you educate me? I'd need to tie some strings around the ones that are plentiful/crowded to know what colors they are after the blooms fade. There are TONS of rust and yellow (both solid and bi-color; less of the others (and only one of that gorgeous black beauty).
Simon & Garfunkel.. great song :-)
Nice flowers ;-)

I love your flowers! You seem a little young for S&G but I'm glad to know you appreciate quality when you hear it :)
Hi Michelle - I do like the black iris, but the one that caught my eye was the peach colored one. I just started crocheting a hat and scarf for my great-niece, and the yarn is that same color. Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers with all of us.
Love that song gives me goosebumps! My first ( reel to reel) tape was the graduate and bridge of troubled water ( oops that dates me!)and that iris is just stunning would love to see that colour in real life. Never seen such a dark flower!
Stunning!
Wow, that's the blackest iris I've ever seen. You have a beautiful collection.
