We're scurrying around with last-minute preparations before family arrives for a couple days, so my time and thoughts are a bit scattered. (Staying up to watch the lunar eclipse didn't help matters.) In keeping with that, I thought I'd share a mish-mash of photos that haven't been posted before.
Awaiting the high point of his day - breakfast!
Interrupting the high point of their day - the sunflower buffet.
Girls growing up and using the perch.
This would work as a perch, too, but it is what I have to do to use my dryer until we get the broken door latch replaced.
Frost crystals casting shadows on a leaf (click to biggify).
A cozy winter to you from . . .

Funny photos! I especially like the last one - you have such a quick eye for noticing the unusual.

That raccoon pic could win awards! Wonderful!
When I saw the gate I was thinking that certain dogs might have figured out how to lift it up and go under it! It's hectic here too, but today is the last day at work for the week, so I'm hoping to get things done tomorrow! Have a Merry Christmas.

I love the new "dryer latch" - I have a similar fix for my toilet. The filler died, and while I have had a new one for, ahem, a long time, I can't seem to get the old one out. So, the hand-held shower head lives in the toilet tank, except when I'm taking a shower. You can reach the faucet from the seat, easily. Ok, it's very crude, but it works!
I think I'm going to have to buy a new toilet to get it fixed. Chair height would be nice!
Great photos!! Love the raccoon ones. Ah if we could only know what they are thinking.
Happy Holidays!!

I simply adore the raccoon picture.
I had to do a double take. You took that raccoon picture at your house - yikes! We've had them raid our campsite, not so cute then.
I finished blogging and went outside to see the eclipse. It had been a bright night until I stepped outside. I was so bummed - there was no moon. They pointed out to me at art club the next day, I had actually seen the eclipse effect, but failed to see the real deal. Oh well, I used to be a blonde.
I, too, love that raccoon pic! And the pic of Bronwen in one of the previous posts - Merry Christmas!
Love the mini sweaters! Have a great Christmas Michelle!
