That green looks like Ireland. We went to Ireland for the World Plowing Matches and I just couldn't believe how emerald green everything was. The hydranga's were huge ~ bigger than my head and just not blue, or lavender.but dark blue and purple.. It was quite remarkable. I really loved going to Ireland it was so beautiful.
If those daffodils were here they would be nipped with freezing snow and temperatures..

Ducking and running is a good idea, sis. It's barely 15 degrees here, and that's the middle of the afternoon. Only shuffling through a paltry 3 inches, though...
I've always loved Oregon and Washington, my favorite place in either (in my experience) is Winatchee, WA, sounds like its a lot like Willamette.

Becky, Wenatchee is a lot drier than here, and I think they get more snow. It is on the "dry side" of the mountains.

Amity is a not terribly far away from lil' old Gold Beach, Oregon and our weather is all Oregon rain just like yours, except we get more wind and you probably get more snow. Its not even two weeks in to December and you have DAFFODILS coming up?! We don't get ours to come up until the end of May. Our Calendar for winter should start October 1st and end April 1st. As thankful as I am to live here and have what I have I sure do feel the need to maybe get a retirement home in your neck of the woods :)

I can't believe you have daffodils in December! We just got dumped with 5 feet of snow over the last 5 days. I think the daffs are under there somewhere!
