At least a 100 times I've meant to stop over and tell you that my first and only horse through childhood and into adult hood was named Russell, although we called him Rusty or Russell bustle...or a dozen other names of endearment. He was an amazing horse, tolerant of all things little girl, kept many teenage secrets and was there too to offer comfort all the way into my collage years.
Here's raising a glass to your Russell!
