I know there are those still suspicious/confused/unconvinced of this whole "blog thing;" count my DH among them. But after getting to spend Friday with Sara at Punkin's Patch and today with Deb at the Kentucky Horse Park, I can say with renewed conviction that blogs are a blessing. Through blogging, both my own and that of others, I have met some of the most wonderful people in the world, people with whom I have much in common; people who I count as special friends. I have pictures to share, but I'm sure they won't portray the fullness of heart I feel in getting to spend quality time with two new/old friends. If ever you get the chance to connect with your blogpals, I urge you to do so. I, for one, have not been disappointed!
That's it for now, a long way from . . .

That was a perfect post and I ditto your sentiments. No pictures needed.
You are so right. I had a visit with a blog pal last summer and she now is a super friend even though we live FAR away from each other. Such a great way to connect.
Glad you've enjoyed your trip to the bluegrass! You really lucked out with the weather here, but even more so, with the wonderful company!
Hope you have a safe trip back.
You are so right about blog friends. I met with one this fall and had the most wonderful time. I spent the day on her farm, sat in her field with the sheep and talked for hours over her kitchen table. I hope we can do it again.
Amen!
I agreee 100%!! Blogging has been a wonderful gift in my life also....have met many "cyber friends" who I hope to be able to meet face to face someday! You're one of them!
By the way....love my sunflower pictures...I decided to frame them together. Think of you and you're wonderful blogs whenever I see them! Blessings...
I totally agree.
I agree wholeheartedly! The friends I have made through my blog are the people I would actually like to spend time with. Cool, fun, oddballs like me!
