...the weather gave to me
a decorative coat of snow on the trees!
And on the bird netting over the strawberries,
And on the spring flowers, poor things. :-/

Tending fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and a whole lot more on a small acreage in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

I want to come visit! We did not have a winter this year. Total of 1- 1 1/2 inches all winter! I really like the snow.
Wow, you have had one weird spring!
How lovely! The snow is late. Spring is early.
They have collided.
I'm glad that you took pictures of the encounter.
Beautiful...
Oh your poor spring. Actually we're still waiting for winter, but it appears to be skipping us this year.
it has been a strange year .... hopefully summer will be a nice change and not too hot.
Rain, wind and flooding, oh my... here on the coast, the sheep and piggies are in their sheds looking out in bewilderment! It's getting very strange...
Michelle, There is an evil little part of me that is enjoying your surprise spring weather. Usually we see sunny days and lovely flowers from you this time of year along with the lambs. This is what we live with from March-early May. Nothing like spreading the season misery around. :)
Truly, you'll have better weather soon and I'll be just as pleased to see all those lovely flowers and imagine what spring could be if I lived somewhere else!
Send your snow our way! We sheared yesterday and it was 65 degrees - at 7:30 am! By the time we finished shearing, it must have been near 80! The bugs have been terrible, I had a tick on me this morning. By the way, your fleeces (in the previous post) are gorgeous. If I didn't have so many of my own, I might consider becoming a customer!
Lovely shots from the collision of winter and spring. Now throw a Shetland in there someplace and you have a truly interesting shot for the MSSBA photo contest. Not that there's any shortage of great photos from you......
