...I present (drumroll, please) a sock! (Don't be picky. It's ALMOST a sock!) And it fits! It really fits! The amount of sock between heel and instep was really alarming me, because there is no way my little boy's foot is that big. But when I had him try it on, I was shocked - and pleased! On to the toe! On to the second sock! (Some of you are thinking I have totally cracked my gourd. Some of you understand. :-)
For those of you who don't understand the sheep thing OR the sock thing, I'll include a few flower shots. I got bored taking plain ol' posie portraits, so these are a little different; some taken here and some taken at Schreiner's Iris Gardens, where we took our annual pilgrimage last Saturday.
We are going horse camping this weekend, so I hope to get in lots of driving-time knitting and campfire knititng. I'll let you know how much progress I make when I get back!
That's it for now from . . .

Beautiful flower shots. The sock is great. It doesn't look like you had much trouble with it. Nice job!
It's all lovely! Have a great weekend! :-)
You INSPIRE me, Michelle!
One of these days, I WILL knit a pair of socks!
Heck, I'd be happy if I could just knit ONE sock....
Have a wonderful weekend. I always dreamed of spending a weekend (or longer) "horse-camping". Never quite made it. :-(
P.S. are you using DPNs or circs for your socks???
The sock looks fantastic! (Must be the model...) And the flowers are lovely...
Great job on the sock!!! Flowers are beautiful too :-D
Lovely flower pictures. I like to chew socks ;-)

My knitterly self is thrilled to see you so totally "hooked"! You have become a fearless and inspired knitter; there's no stopping you now...Bravo!!!
Beautiful sock, beautiful iris (love that blackish one!), and have a lovely weekend on horseback!
Nancy, I'm using one long circ for Magic Loop. Love it! Thanks to all of you for your encouraging words. Finished the second sock this weekend; photos soon!
