Inky still has two weeks to go. The daffodils may bloom while Rick's mom is here (she'll love that!).I now realize that waiting for lambs is just as hard when you know the due date as when you don't.

The waiting for lambs is both exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. Inky does look ready to go soon. Mine are looking large as well, but I'll have a better idea when they're due after Friday.
You're telling me! I have to wait until April 27th!! ARGH!!!
I think Inky will be relieved when she isn't super-sized anymore.
We have about 10 days to go, although Scarlet is looking ready, I am guessing she will lamb before the end of the week.
I learned that knowing the day they are due is just as hard, you should have asked! ;-)
I have until March 20th for my AI girls and I don't really think any will go that long! The poor things look like Inky and they waddle, puff when they breathe and moan and groan when they get up. I feel so guilty :)
Poor Inky - She looks like she needs a "Wide Load" sign on her rear :) We have some of our Finns/Gotlands who may be carrying quads or more - and those girls are already HUGE !!!
Poor Inky! She looks as though she'll triplet or have two BIG ones at the very least. I can hardly wait!
I'm so glad that I still have a month to go before I even have to think about lambing!
I am so impatient for lambs too. It looks so much greener and warmer there. My DH was a VISTA volunteer in AK after college and we spent spring break in Seattle that year. I flew out there to meet him. It was so beautiful and in full bloom, about a whole month ahead of spring here. Your pictures reminded me of that and that it won't be took long for us. The end of winter is close. :)
I completely agree about the waiting part, it is just as hard when you know as when you don't know. Inky looks quite a bit different then she did when she was here :)
Dark colored sheep are my absolute favorite...happy lambing! :)
