Pimping a give-away

Seriously, that is what Kate at Chronicles of a Country Girl calls it! Kate is giving away this beautiful mug,and I get an extra entry by putting it on my blog. There's not much time left, though, so skedaddle over there and enter! (Or not; I really would love to win this mug so you don't need to go and decrease my odds.)

I spent the last five hours sitting on my rear working on two newletters for our local hospital; I think it's time to go ride my horse!

That's it for now at . . .

Gee, isn't horse back riding more sitting on your butt? Different, I guess?

I saw the beautiful mug, but am not entering...to increase your chances :-).

Ah well, Sara, I didn't win anyway. And Sharrie, if you've never ridden dressage, then you have no idea how different from sitting in a chair it truly is. Let's just say that when I am riding several days a week, my core muscles (in my torso) are steel and my thighs can crack walnuts. It has been said that in dressage, if the rider is not working just as hard as the horse, they aren't riding effectively; I'm not in total agreement with that, but it's more true than false.

Hey, Michelle! I'm at school so I'm not on my own computer. It was a Michelle Black texture. I have the link at home but not with me. If you google Michelle Black free texture (she has two of them) it should come up. Also if you search in my blog for Michelle Black, I think I may have a link on one of my posts. I just don't remember.
Other free textures can be found on flickr.com, check out ghostbones. Also deviantart.com but 98% of them require credits and linkbacks. Oh, and I found a (somewhat inadequate) tutorial and that can also be found doing a search on my blog. Search texture tutorial.
Hope this all helps!!

Fantastic jug, Michelle. I love anything with animals or birds on it. My house is peppered with all sorts. I hope you win it :)
