. . . the chickens laid NINE eggs today!
Will someone explain to me how EIGHT hens can do that? And does this foretell a litter from Inky?
That's it for now at . . .

Tending fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and a whole lot more on a small acreage in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

I absolutely love the look of natural colors eggs. They are so pretty that some years ago I took the time to blow out about 18 eggs of different colors including Aracana and displayed them in a basket.
Some hens lay 1 1/2 eggs a day, espically heavy laying breeds, so you may have gotten the halves to meet up...lol
We once had a hen (when we only had about 6) that skipped a day. The next day she layed one in the morning and then one at night. Your lamb should be nice and grow nice wool!
Did an egg slip the "collector" from yesterday? ;)
Go, Inky!
