Yesterday afternoon my purple croci were sparkling in the sun, so I had to grab my camera and try to capture the magic. Not bad, not bad at all - but nothing like the inspiration for my little photo shoot.They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I guess I'm doing my sincere best to flatter Kate of Chronicles of a Country Girl. She (AND her husband) take the most beautiful photos of all sorts of things, which Kate then fancies up with textures and stuff. Me, I don't have the time or inclination for all that, so I just snap and post my simple photos and drool over her works of art. (P.S. She sells her prints, too.)
On a sheep-related note, last night I dreamed that Inky had QUADS. All four were rams in solid modified colors, one obviously horned, the other three possibly polled or half-polled. Yes, it was a very vivid, realistic dream!

Ohhh you are so lucky to be able to see the crocus. If you visit my blog you will see that yesterday we had another snow storm. Just when I thought there might be a breath of spring!
Dream on!! Maybe you will get lucky. I know those flowers are from last year. How could they be blooming when it was -5 degrees here this morning. Lucky you!!
Oh how I wish I could see the grass, or anything that resembled spring. We've had a spell of -40c cold, cold cold weather blow in with a bunch of new snow. It's so nice to know the Shetlands are such a hearty breed!

Oh Sharrie, I didn't like that dream at all! Triplets at the most, please, and all gulmogets - and NOT all rams!
I'm hoping she has twins. Twins are easy to handle compared to quads... ugh. What a dream for you. :-( I seriously hope it's twins...gulmoget ewes. ;-)
Thanks for the peek at spring again. The weather here snapped cold again.
I think quads would help my chances of guessing how many lambs you'll have ;-). I'd rather not win though if that was what it would take!
Aww! Pretty! Pretty! I just got back from 80° Florida t0 15° WI. Those little purple promises of spring were just what I needed today!

Beautiful flowers!! Even less than 4 hours north of you, mine have just poked their little heads out, and they're in pots so they're somewhat earlier than the in ground flowers.
Quads - argh!!! Modified is nice, gulmoget even better, and ewes - ROCK ON!
