Foggy, frosty, frisky

It is a chill, still morning at Boulderneigh, with a heavy freezing fog in the air. By rattling a can of grain, I led the ewe group through the arena and into the lower pasture for the day.

Dinah was a bit wary in the new surroundings.

The youngsters, Butter and Browning, frisked about,
then Butter settled down with the rest of the girls to dine on frosty greens.

After finishing chores, Jackson got to enjoy his Christmas present, a flexible flying toy.
A tired Aussie is a good Aussie!

And apparently, an organized hubby is a happy hubby. Rick didn't stop with the shelf he built on New Year's Day; on Friday he added a smaller shelf and tool pegboard below. Now if I can just get him to help me take down the Christmas tree today!

Yes, they usually do when he's alert. I'm glad; I like "uppey" ears!

Rick has always been good at building things like that - bet it'll be nice to have a place to put things, and definitely a good weekend's work, eh?
