So much for the real knitter....

Yesterday I knit through a couple meetings. This morning I realized I'd messed up ALL the cable sections. Some cables had too many rows separating them; some didn't have enough rows separating them; yeah, I got creative and didn't make the same mistake in each section! Looks like I'll be getting a LOT of practice at cable surgery; sigh.

I don't know that my photography is much better, but it's hard to mess up too badly when you have such beautiful subjects.

I'm ready to throw in the towel on a LOT of things right now. "This, too, shall pass; this, too, shall pass; this, too, shall pass" (repeat until it does or I do).

That's it for today from . . .

Deep breath. Yes, this too shall pass, be it good times or bad. Glad that you are looking at the "creative knitting" as a chance to work on your cable surgery skills instead of an excuse to chuck the sweater.

In looking at the pictures you posted Wednesday the differences in the rows isn't that noticeable. If it's something you can't live with then it might be quicker to ravel back to the beginning of the cable section.

Irises are such fragrant flowers! My mom used to plant borders of them.

Your photos are great and your subjects are fantastic! Fixing a few cables is a blast (I think). A lot of cables...probably not so much, but you'll do fine and be really impressed with your knitting afterwards!

Just remember Michelle, the only person not making mistakes is the one doing NOTHING!!! Bravo on doing a lot of somethings.
