LOTS of different wildflowers were in bloom, but my heart belonged to the lovely dogwoods:
We enjoyed riding, and visiting, and campfires:
In short, we had a great time!
That's it for now from . . .
Tending fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and a whole lot more on a small acreage in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

Which Mountain is that in the background Michelle? Lovely view!
I'm with you on the dogwoods. With all the evergreen we have around here, seeing their shy cream faces dapple the shade always attracts me. Glad the weather held because it certainly is a beautiful place.
Oh, what a gorgeous place!! Been far too long since I saw a scene like that. I'm so glad you and your family and friends had a good time.
That's Mt. Adams in WA, Sherry. There is a horse camp at its base, built and maintained by Back Country Horsemen.
The weather held until Sunday evening, Theresa; then we packed up and headed home.
I do love the Pacific Northwest, FFG!
Wow, incredible vistas. What a wonderful place to live. You are very lucky.
Wow, is right. What a spectacular place to visit. Especially on horseback. Everything's better on horseback, isn't it?
Michelle,
Beautiful weather for camping and campfires, horseback riding, and just being in the middle of mother nature.
Your pictures are gorgeous as always!!!
Great setting for an outing! Looks like a lot of fun. Your pictures are beautiful. The greenery and flowers...so lush!!
