Good timing

It was drizzling when we fell into bed late last night, and drizzling still when we woke up. I just love it when God waters our garden! It's great for the fruit trees, berry bushes and canes, flowers and pastures as well.
Even better is that it stopped drizzling from mid-morning to mid-afternoon, so I was able to get in the ride on Larry that was crowded out yesterday. I kept the horses in today, but turned the sheep out into the middle pasture Larry usually gets. The first thing they did was prune the maple tree, then they headed out into the tall grass that Larry hasn't grazed because it's too far from the other horses. You can just barely tell there are Shetlands in there! It was good to see Bing eating and acting normal; he has been understandably uncomfortable since last night's "procedure."

By the time I got back from errands at the end of the day it had started raining again in earnest, and I had a flock of soggy sheep ready to be let back into the Sheep Sheraton. It can rain all day tomorrow as far as I'm concerned; I'll be stuck in the courthouse for juror orientation. If there's time to kill, I'll be working on Taygete:
That's it for today from . . .

We still need to get our seeds in the ground! I'm hoping to take a break from work long enough tomorrow before the next round of rain moves in.

Did you get selected for a trial? How was your day at the courthouse?

No, no one got selected today (the defendent in the one juried trial scheduled for today pleaded guilty at the last moment), but I'm on call for jury duty for the month of June.

I got the seeds I needed and need to get them in the ground!
