Two years ago my sweet little lovebird Emma died. I kept her cage, hoping to one day add another feathered friend to the family. Last weekend there was an ad on Freecycle for a two-year-old female parakeet. After discussing it with her owners and Rick, I picked her up this afternoon.
Meet Olivia:
She has been absolutely quiet so far; it will be interesting to see if that changes as she gets used to her new home. She isn't hand-tame, but I'm hoping to slowly change that.
