I have finished my first "product spinning" yarn (I've been a "process spinner" to date), two ounces of two-ply variegated light grey Shetland/mohair. I need 450+ yards for the beautiful Maia; I ended up with only 255 yards. Yes, it is a let-down; yes, I will find something else to knit with this yarn. Eventually. In the meantime I will cast on a pair of socks, start spinning four more ounces of white alpaca (the alpaca farmer wants her last 12 ounces of yarn in four-ounce skeins) and use some commercial green yarn I have for Maia once the pattern is released.
That's it for now from . . .

Well, if it is any consolation, it is lovely yarn.
I can send you more if you want! It turned out beautiful! :)
Beautiful fibre and beautifully spun.
