Exhibit F: musket

This is Rechel's other 2008 ram lamb, Blizz' musket twin Bluster. If I were a betting woman, I would bet a little money that he is Ag/Ag. He was born with light rings around his eyes and a white muzzle and scrotum, and faded very fast from there. I was hoping to include a current photo of him at his new home so we could all see how he looks now, but haven't received one yet. It will be interesting come spring to find out what he sires!

That's it for my Shetland color exhibits (until next year :-). Now we're off to go horse-camping with friends for the weekend. It's supposed to be cool; my favorite kind of weather. Too bad we can't have a campfire!

That's it for now from . . .

Hope you had a great time Michelle! I envy you that experience. :-) I would guess the little guy is double Ag too, just from the extreme fading. For a comparison you can look at the little musket ewe lamb of mine from this year (Under a "Doe, A Deer ...." post). She hadn't faded much past that when she went to her new home three weeks ago. Also I just put up a picture of Orion, who is also musket. He is fading a little quicker, but still not as extreme as your boy. Have enjoyed your comparison posts!

Just popping in to say hello! I have never seen so many different color fleeces before. Down inside there is such a change. I think I like the dark chocolate the best. In the fleece too I might add!
Tina told me Neelix is so very sick and he may be going to the rainbow bridge today...I am heartbroken for her and John and SInda too.
Much love as always from Karla & Miss Peachy

Hi thanks for the comment on the blog I see youve been getting to grips with the same issues as me! I would agree about Brava probably being modified but its sometimes so hard to tell! sometimes though its the mystery colours that when you finally figure them out help you make sense of the whole picture! if you get a chance to scan a sample that would be great:! but yes I know how time runs away with you; i've been reading your blog from time to time i shall look in more often for hopefully somemore of your lovely colours.
