Since I am apparently incapable of composing a coherent, comprehensive post (credit the chaos in our casa), I will have to content myself with sharing a current collection of sky shots with no commentary. The last two were taken a couple miles from our house at the Willamette River; all the rest were taken from various locations on our hill at various times of the day. I do love autumn skies. 😍
That's it for now from . . .

Beautiful colors. We have so many trees that we don't get many colorful views of the sky. I'm not complaining about the trees, but I do love a good skyscape.
There are a lot of trees around here, too, Leigh, but we have the advantage of living on a hill. :-)
You do have the most wonderful skies. Wish things could be wonderful on the ground.
Beautiful autumnal skies. The 6th photo from the top is by far the best❣️ I have always been an outdoor person and love to watch the changing seasons in nature.
Me, too, Elaine. We'll just keep praying!
Thanks, Kim; the fourth from the bottom is my favorite of these, I think. :-D
So beautiful, my friend :-)
Oh, I hope things settle down soon. Meanwhile we'll enjoy your landscapes.
What lovely sky photos, Michelle. They really have been beautiful lately, haven't they! I'm sorry for the chaos, though..
Michelle, your photos are so beautiful!! I plan to look at them again - probably twice! I do love beautiful skies. I wondered if you have ever thought that some of that water in the Willamette flowed by here, where we live. We live in what is called the Upper Willamette area. It's such a beautiful place to live, even if we don't get many gorgeous sunsets. We do get lovely sunrises, but I'm not always up to see those! Thanks so much for sharing.
I agree with you, Michelle - the fourth picture from the bottom is my favorite, too!
Did you get any rain this weekend? We were/are supposed to get rain today, but there has been none so far.
I hope your weekend has been a good one!
Beautiful photos. Sorry about the chaos.
Beautiful skyscapes! Sorry about the chaos. Family counseling?
Thank you, A.
No end in sight, Sue, but enjoying the landscapes I am!
Yes, Mokihana, Fall brings enhanced sky shows.
Jeanne, we didn't really get any rain last weekend, but are getting plenty THIS weekend!
Thanks, Donna.
"Family" would have to be willing. I'm getting some for myself.
