Mayday! Mayday!

April was a hard, hard month. I started a catch-up post, but just couldn't make my way around the stress blockade to finish it. But at the end of last week things started looking up a bit; I guess you could say that our "Mayday!" call was answered by May Day. So here is a May Day post with lots of May Day flowers, my sweet little lamb (in rare selfies!), my gorgeous mare, and a view from the lane on our evening walk. I may get around to that catch-up post, too, eventually.

Happy May Day (a day late) from . . .

Such beautiful blooms, and animals, and you! You will have to catch us all up on the current affairs in your world when (and if) you have a hankering to do so. In the meantime, thinking of you and hoping this new month is a better one for you.

I will try to finish that catch-up post, Mama Pea. Getting this one done will hopefully grease the rails.

Great to hear from you, and that lamb is sure precious! Take time to smell the flowers, is clearly noted from your great photos! Do they smell heavenly? Hoping that May is the medicine to renew our troubled minds! I really think it is! Have a perfect week!

What's that saying? This too shall pass. What a lovely place you have created for yourself out there.

Michelle, your flowers are so beautiful, and make your whole place look wonderful! I'd love to have a pink dogwood, but there isn't much room for that.

Your little lambie is so sweet. Did you choose a name? I'm glad you did the selfie. I know you don't like to have your picture taken.

I pray that May will be a much better month for you.

Stella certainly is gorgeous! How is the riding going?

I hope to send a letter very soon! I've neglected you, and I'm sorry!

Beautiful pictures Thank You for putting them on.

Yes, some of the flowers have sweet scents, wyomingheart. The lamb smells pretty sweet, too! 😊

Now Sue, you DO realize that I carefully zoom and crop to show only the flowers and not all the weeds, deadwood, unmown grass, etc. 😉

Jeanne, if I showed the whole tree you might be less enamored of the pink dogwood. It doesn't usually flower well; I'd rather have a white one as they seem to flower much heavier. The lamb's name is Berlin. Stella is doing well; I'm riding her at the walk and trot nearly every day.

You're welcome, Marlane.

Baby animals and sleek beauty of a horse you own. Life is good mostly - just focus on the “mostly."
