If the deer are going to eat our grass, the ewes might as well benefit from it, too. (The tracks are from hauling manure; the guys didn't get much done before the old spreader crashed.)
Bardot proves the old adage about the grass on the other side of the fence:
As you can see, it has been gray here. Lots of clouds and/or fog, with and without rain. Not many colorful sunrises (above is this morning's shades of gray), but there were two rainbows in the sky on my way to work Thursday morning. The main one started out as just a colorful smudge on the horizon in front of me as I drove, and kept growing and glowing bigger and brighter until it was a perfect arch – just the blessing I needed on a tough morning.
Another blessing given the weather was getting to see the last full moon of 2019. I tried to take photos of it sailing through the tree branches and clouds, but such shots are not in my iPhone's wheelhouse. Still, these shots have an atmospheric quality I like:
That's it for now from . . .

I love deer, and cats and sheep! Perfect post. The moon pics I am sure were dramatic but you are right. As wonderful as having cheap easy photography at your finger tips is with the iPhone - it has its limitations. Remember when you use film in the cameras and had to pay for development. At the time I didn't realize what an expensive process that was.
I'm glad you enjoyed the critters, Elaine! And horses; didn't you see Lance's ears??? 😉 Photography is much easier and faster these days; no waiting for developing, or running out of film, filters (though I rarely use them) at your fingertips. I still want to get one of my old Panasonic Lumix cameras cleaned for better distance shots!
What a stunning double rainbow :-)
Critters all around at your house! Always enjoyable to see. Chuckie can't seem to get enough of you. He's even willing to settle for your "scent" left behind in your shoes!
What great photos!! I love them all.
Since I've been away from home, visiting my 2nd #1 daughter, I have been nearly been adopted by her 8 or 9 month old kitten, named Polly. She's a feisty little beauty with shiny black fur, except for her nose, paws, belly and chest. Everyone here has been surprised that Polly has taken to me in this way, since she doesn't sit on the laps of anyone else! It's tempting to ask to have her. She was named because of her extra front toes - 5 on one, and 6 on the other paw.
But we have the large older cat at home, and she would probably be resentful!
Thanks again for your beautiful entry!
I love those eerie moon looks too, but my phone camera is not up to it. I always get a grainy smudge. Yours look pretty good!
Love the pictures!!! I get so excited when it comes to animals and love getting photos with them. I started setting up trail cameras in my local area to see if I could get any animals there and it's been working well! https://www.critterlick.com/
