Through new lenses

Yesterday afternoon, the rain stopped and the sky apologized:

This morning, the flowers smiled their appreciation for the liquid refreshment:
As the old adage says, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute." ;-)

The girls enjoyed some sunshine and green grass this afternoon:

Annabelle is still packing around her lamb(s). As you can see, I haven't crutched her yet; I haven't seen the changes in her nether regions that indicate imminent lambing. She's laying down a lot more these days, though, and is slow to get up. I remember that stage of pregnancy; your feet hurt and getting up from a bed or chair is a real chore!

Look who is seeing the world through new lenses!
This afternoon we picked up Brian's glasses. He likes them (the frames are "cool") and was exclaiming over how clear distant things are now. Since he's not driving or sitting in a classroom with a blackboard, he was getting along just fine, but he "can see clearly now; the rain is gone."

It's been a bright, bright sunshiny day at . . .

Beautiful flowers, happy sheep, good looking son. (You're going to have to beat the girls off with a stick in a couple/few years!)

Dang, Annabelle, you were supposed to lamb today! I just got new glasses, so I can agree with your son-seeing better is a good thing!
