Too-petite-to-look-pregnant Marta? She's a mama!!!
Meet Blaise, Marta's black gulmoget daughter (HALLELUJAH!):
Oh – and the race? I'd say it was a tie. ;-)
That's it for March from . . .

Congratulations on that darling ewe. Heck, I'm surprised you didn't name her Hallelujah! :)
Congrats:-))
So glad you got your little ewe from Marta. Two lambs from the little mama . . . makes you wonder how many Sarai is carrying, doesn't it?
Congrats on finally getting a ewe lamb. Is that an ear tag I see already? As small as the tags are that I use they are still to big to tag the lambs yet, there heads would tilt from the weight.
I see your ewe lamb came in a "blaise" of glory at the end of March! How about that? She's a cutie!! Congrats!
Theresa, that would have been a WONDERFUL name – but I have only used names that start with B for my little flock. (There's Jet, but if he's registered his name will officially be B-2 Spirit, one of the U.S. military jets.) Besides, how could I resist "Blaise" with that pretty marking on her face???
Thanks, Jody; I'm thrilled! Especially because Marta had me really worried and I was braced for dead lambs.
In Sarai's defense she IS still in full fleece, Mama Pea. ;-)
No ear tag yet, Audrey; her ears are SO tiny. I can wait until my lambs are months old because I don't have enough to confuse them.
That's clever, Nancy Kay!
Oh, how very sweet. I really like their blankets. And the little one is adorable.
Congratulations... but are you getting any sleep?
Finally - a baby girl :-) Congratulations!! I know you must be so HAPPY!!! :-)
A gully girl with a white stripe!!! Yeah, she's a doll. Congrats.
My first lamb was today.
Okay, so I admit it. Had to google "gulmoget." But I'm good now. BiG CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!!! She is positively darling.
:D
Yay! Congrats on the healthy baby girl, and sorry about the one that didn't make it. She looks like she'll give the boys a run for their money in a day or two.
Oh so cute -- congratulations!!!! What a sweetie with the perfect name.
Awwwww :-D
The coats keep their wool clean, Sage Butterfly, but can be a hazard to newborns. That's why Marta's is off for now.
Not enough, farm lady, not enough….
Oh, I AM, Adrienne!
Kelly, I've never had much in the way of white markings here, so I'm ridiculously pleased with her stripe. ;-)
Pam, there are lots of strange words in the Shetland lexicon!
Thanks, Sue; I know you understand.
Yep, Maureen, sometimes the names are just obvious.
Come on over for our little Lamp Camp, Sara!
