This morning we had driving rain, sending Bramble under a hazelnut clump for shelter.
The rest of the day was a dizzying mix of rain, sun, wind, gray, drizzle, sun, and wind. I caught the sheep in a moment of sun, wondering if it was safe to wander away from the big Douglasfir they were huddled by.
The hens have been enjoying the luxury of dust-bathing regardless of weather, thanks to the roof Rick put over their run. When they get to add sunbathing to their pleasures, all the better!
When I ventured out to (try and) ride my horse between rain showers, I found this little fungi family in the arena:
Coming back to the house I captured this color-filled shot of our front yard:
and I thought to myself, "What a wonderful world."
That's it for today from . . .

3000 miles away, the weather was exactly the same here today:) You still have leaves and fungi though, they've all gone here.
Yep, it sure looks wonderful Michelle! You have a great place to live. Thank you for sharing it with us.
That looks like a nice big Doug fir!
Same here on the coast... Our Suffolks are spoiled rotten and head for the lean-to! Beautiful colors in the yard!
Do you get hazelnuts from that 'hazelnut clump' ?
