Halcyon days

We've had some this week. After seeing the forecast a week ago and then getting a more aggressive start to the rainy season than predicted last Friday, we were prepared for a dreary spell. Instead, it's been dry at least every morning (giving me a chance to school Horton) and more often all blissful day long. With the dust washed out of the air and off the landscape, everything practically glows in the fall sunlight. The perfection, short-lived as we know it must be, is almost painful!

Aching from the beauty at . . .

That is a beautiful photograph of the ferns, Michelle. We do love our lovely days while they last.

You sure do have a way with the flowers. What a green thumb!

Rick was all a-glum last week moping about the rain being here for good now...I told him it wouldn't be so. :) More often than not, October is a magical month! No pun intended!! One of my favorites for pure Fall bliss!! Isn't it just perfect??

Love the ferns in the woods. Beautiful!
This weather is to die for right now. No heat, no air conditioners, just beautiful, warm and still... with Fall color.
Enjoy.
