Tending fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and a whole lot more on a small acreage in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

Sheepy Sunday
This morning I decided to give Barrister a pre-purchase pedicure and while I was at it, I admired his soft, white fleece. It feels very fine and is very crimpy, although it's more of a disorganized crimp like Blackberry's (click to biggify). He is a handsome boy, and should have a lot to offer as a flock sire:
Bronwen (gulmoget ewe), Birdie (grey ewe lamb), and Blackberry (black gulmoget ram, not shown) will be leaving before Barrister - maybe as early as this week. Things will not be this peaceful then!
I'm a homeschooling, horse training, animal loving, garden growing, part-time business running, spinning and knitting shepherd who loves the Great Shepherd.

I'm sure after the ruckus of leaving, everything will settle down into peace again. Great pictures! Barrister is a very handsome boy.
Barrister is gorgeous! What lovely sheep you have.
I agree, Barrister is very nice. I love the pose on the rock, that's a great picture.
