Random Wednesday

A recent sunrise
The blue-egg team
Rick decided to pot a couple of volunteer tomatoes
to see if they would produce inside during the winter
The silver squirrels are busy, busy, busy
It's a good thing my family doesn't depend on me to keep their feet warm!
Sarai says, "Don't forget; Oct. 27 is 'Hug a Sheep Day'!"

That's it for today from . . .

Hug a Sheep Day... I almost forgot. Now I just have to find a sheep and I only have 2 more hours. Would a Corgi do?
Beautiful sunset and I hope the tomatoes grow. Keep us informed. I would love good fresh tomatoes in the winter.
Isn't that a toe warmer that you're knitting? Cute!!

That's the plan.

Good luck with the tomatoes. What about lettuce?

Looks like Sarai thinks every day should be a Hug a Sheep day. Beautiful sunrise.

I did the "inside tomatoes" thing one year. Potted up a plant from the garden that was covered in fruit. It didn't survive, but the tomatoes kept on ripening anyway. Something so special about having fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes in January!
