Sunday morning Brian headed to work and Rick and I unloaded, split and stacked close to a cord of oak. I was dragging by the end, so I sat in the sunshine supervising Poppy for a bit before taking care of some household tasks. After changing her splint again Friday night, I've started 'bagging' it when she's outside to keep it drier. Since the baggy isn't all that secure and not very durable, her outside play time is now more limited; I we can hardly WAIT until she's no longer limited in her activities!
Well, Chuckie might not be so eager for an unhampered pup....
Mt. Adams glowed in the late afternoon light:
Adjusting to the change to Daylight Savings Time seems easier this year (but I still want 'them' to STOP MESSING WITH THE CLOCKS). It gave me time last night to get Lance out for a ride down the road (Stella got turned out to exercise and play while we did firewood).
It's been awhile since I've enjoyed a beautiful sunset on horseback!
Poppy played hard yesterday after being cooped up much of Sabbath. I'll need to wear her out again this afternoon when I get home from work, before leaving for a meeting at Brian's school.
Every spring the senior class goes on a two-week senior class trip/mission trip to Costa Rica. The tickets were already purchased by the time coronavirus made its appearance; they are supposed to fly out the evening of the 17th. So far the trip is still a 'go,' but that could change any minute and contingency plans will be discussed. It's a crazy world we live in.
That's it for now from . . .

Ah, the total abandon of puppyhood! Little cutie. Yes, the coronavirus is sure throwing a monkey wrench in just about every aspect of our lives. You do have the most beautiful skies there... xo
Thanks, Susan. I feel like you've been on vacation (ha!) and I don't know what's going on in your life. We need to email....
I really enjoyed reading this, after i finally found it! I hope i don't miss any more!
Poppy is so cute! It's hard to believe how much she has grown.
The sunset pictures from your ride with Lance are beautiful! And of course, Poppy and Chuckie are so cute together.
When do you think you'll be able to hop up on Stella for a ride? Poppy's crashed out positions crack me up :-D
Love seeing pics of Chuckie. He is such a handsome boy. All your animals are just beautiful creatures.
I don't know how you keep up with all that's going on in your life! Always enjoy your posts and the great pictures you include.
Jeanne, Poppy has more than doubled in size!
A, I don't know; it'll be awhile – like months, at least.
Well, I DO try to shoot them at their finest, Elaine. 😉
I'm glad you enjoy them, Mama Pea. I wouldn't mind having a few less things to juggle!
