I have a stunning sunset to share with you. I have an amazing hike to share with you. I have a(nother) dehydrator of prunes drying, seven (more) quarts of applesauce processed, and enough apples picked to make more tomorrow. But I only have time to share one photo before taking my aching feet to bed.
Our local yarn shop closed at the end of August. Last week I got an email saying it was having a "garage sale" of fixtures, decorations and samples this weekend. I figured there wouldn't be much by the time I could go today, but went anyway. Can you believe I got two tops, two small scarves, a dishcloth, a baby cap, a new plush toy, and a used canvas bag for $32?!?
Feeling mighty chuffed at . . .

Now that's the kind of "garage sale" everyone likes to find! Did you get any going-out-of-business yarn from the shop?
WOW! What a deal! I like those tops! Too bad you are losing a LYS. There are so few of them left - at least here.
I'm sorry your yarn shop closed. You really did "hit the jackpot" though, with all those goodies!
I really hate it when our favorite shops close.
I got a couple skeins earlier; all they had left yesterday were bags of acrylic in green, yellow, and orange.
I know. I think there are several in Portland, but I never go there to shop for ANYthing!
Yep, felt very blessed by the deals but bummed by the closure.
