Brian snowboarding down the drive this morning |
Brian down in the pasture with friends this afternoon |
It is above freezing, so it's "slicker 'n snot" out there, with the sound of drip-drip-dripping all around. Except for barn chores, I've been busy inside. No knitting yet today, but I did get a lot done on my hat last night:
No color here, either, but I love it anyway. It's going much faster than I expected; I should have time to knit up another of Romi's hat patterns during the Romilympics:
I have colorful bulky yarn for this design!
That's it for now from . . .

I think our weather patterns got mixed up in the delivery. You got our snow and we're getting your rain. I can't remember a week of rain in February before now.
Your beautiful pictures of all the snow, ice, and fog sure capture your winter world. Yes, it's a good time to be indoors and knitting. Great projects in knitting; interesting hat pattern!
This has been a winter for the record books, for sure! Hope you get cleared out soon - before you and Lance go bonkers! I love that hat! What a great pattern.
beautiful knitting, Michelle; we're expecting another huge storm Wednesday.
Cute hats! There have been some great knitted team hats on tv too. Fun, fun!
Well, we have only rarely gotten snow in February, Sharon, so I think you are correct! (It's raining here now, though.)
Nancy Kay, I have admired that hat pattern ever since it was released. When I won a $10 Romi pattern credit, I knew exactly what I wanted to buy with part of it!
It doesn't last long here, Susan, so I'm not complaining.
Thanks, sis!
You've had it so much worse than us, Sandra. I'll pray for a quick thaw!
Thanks, Sara. But why am I knitting hats? I hate to wear them!
