hmm, they bring you a tractor and a trailer and at least they did not go home empty handed, LOL, he will have great memories from this trip. More time for you to spin ...........
Big step, eh? I assume this is the first time he's gone off on his own - and to Texas! It looks like he's in good hands and I'm sure he'll have a ball. As for you? Keep busy!
He'll have a ball. I spent every summer with my grandparents and loved it. Left the week after school ended and came home right be fore Memorial Day. You learn so much from them and only realize how much years later. Now, what are YOU going to be up to?
Last summer Brian went to camp so this is his second time away from home, but the first time he's visited grandparents solo. My dad taught a vocational class for juvenile offenders at an inner-city high school, so I figure he can handle anything - ha!
Brian has already suggested that as a plan from now on!
I'm as busy as ten things so far; I'm hoping to catch up on a lot of necessary things that have been shoved to the back burner for far too long. Plus, I'm hoping to fill the stall Russell and then Larry occupied! Worked on that some yesterday.... ;-)
Oh, he'll have so much fun - his first solo trip away from home!! I'm not surprised that you found it a little harder than you'd expected... :) You look exactly like your mom Michelle!!! Just a younger version.
I'm a homeschooling, horse training, animal loving, garden growing, part-time business running, spinning and knitting shepherd who loves the Great Shepherd.

I bet he'll miss home some too, but both he and your parents will have a great time. He's a great kid :-D.
Spinning? What is that? Haven't done a lick since the TdF!

Thanks, Sara. Today is only day two of their three-day drive home; hope they are all surviving!
Tad went to Georgia for school for a whole year for seventh grade. I thought I was going to implode. But we both survived :)
