Grateful for the bow of promise

I don't yet know what the official totals for March are, just that Portland (where our news comes from) easily surpassed its record for the wettest March since record-keeping began in 1940. And Salem (which we live much closer to than Portland) received over 10 inches of precipitation last month. With more expected this week. Squish, squish, squish....

Since the sheep get their crew cuts tomorrow morning, I've been keeping them in to stay dry. They are all going stir-crazy, so as soon as each one is sheared, out it goes to pasture. Stay tuned for sleek sheep shots!

That's it for today from . . .

Ten inches. In a month. We're happy when we get that much in a year. I think the local average is trending at just over 11" a year right now. Can't wait to see the sleek sheep, and the lovely fleece.
