Disjointed

Thoughts, photos; disconnected, unrelated. My brain usually works better than this; because of who I am or what I've done (years of brainstorming for graphics clients), I usually think of ways to stitch ideas and images together. Not right now. Maybe it's because I can't make sense of a lot of things – bad things – right now. A quote comes to mind: “It is impossible to explain the origin of evil so as to give reason for its existence.... Evil is an intruder, for whose presence no reason can be given. It is mysterious, unaccountable; to excuse it is to defend it. Could excuse for it be found, or cause be shown for its existence, it would cease to be evil.”

But clearly there is also beauty and blessing all around. Focus on the good things; BE a good thing!

Hi Michelle,
I hope you are okay. Your photos are really nice. I have depression, mostly managed, but I can relate to bad things, evil entering the brain and not being able to shake it. I try so hard to look at the bright side all the time and you're right, the world will go on as it does, but it's up to people to BE the good "things". Sending positivity your way!

Preaching to yourself . . . maybe, but your last sentence regarding to BE a good thing/person/light against darkness is all we as individuals can do. Sending hugs.
