The wee sheep are an excellent antidote to a world full of antagonism, anxiety, and apathy. In and out of the fold, they are fun to watch.



There will soon be an addition, I think. Bree is waddling out when I let the girls into the pasture, and she and little sister Babette are getting more and more needy.

Wow, there was a rare rumble of thunder, and now it is hailing like crazy!

Spring salad

to add to one of my bare borders – but for now I'm enjoying them in front of those rocks on our front walk!


Rick recently pruned some of the trees by our house. I feel more exposed now, but it needed to be done. All those branches are going to enlarge an already big burn pile!
