Getting what you pay for, or . . .

. . . getting your money's worth?

A hair "salon" chain is having a haircut sale, and we all took advantage of it this week. Rick went "under the knife" on Monday, just before we headed to Portland to watch the Blazers in the NBA playoffs. (Fantastic game then and tonight! Go, Rip City!!!) His hairdresser got overzealous and he came out looking like a peeled onion.

Yesterday I took Brian in for a much needed haircut at a different location, where he's gotten good cuts before. While he was getting his ears lowered, I decided I might as well get a trim, too, since it is difficult to get in to see my usual hairdresser. The nice young lady who cut my hair . . . cut my hair . . . and cut my hair. I was getting more and more nervous; why didn't I say anything??? You know it's bad when your son tells you to wear a hat. :-/  But hey, none of us will need haircuts for awhile! No, you don't get to see it. How about some flowers and leaves? ;-)

Got Bittersweet's fleece skirted this evening:

Hope to get more done tomorrow!

That's it for now from . . .

Oh NO! Bad haircuts are the worst! What fun getting to a Blazers game and having them win. :-)

The same thing happens to me - especially if I'm talking away to the stylist. The cutting goes on and on... LOVE the family pic!

Love the shot of you all together :-)

Here's the good think about hair: Generally speaking, it grows back. :-) And pretty quickly, too. I'm sure it's not as bad as you think it is. Grab some product, spike it up, and rock on :-)

I used to go to a hairdresser I just loved (she's retired now) because she always said, "I'm going to cut your hair long because if it ends up too long, you can come back and I'll trim it some more for no charge. But if I cut it too short and you're unhappy, there's absolutely nothing I can do about it and you most likely won't come back." Had to love that. She never cut my hair too short, but just right!

I must be getting old, Theresa, because I decided how I look really doesn't matter that much. The game was fantastic!

Yep, we were all sheared, Sara!

That's just it, Susan, I WASN'T talking! =:-O

Thanks, A. My hair grows slowly, but it'll grow....

Next time I'll take Ray Stevens' advice and go to my OWN hairdresser, Mama Pea!

Thanks, Mary Ann, but note that the photo was taken after Rick's haircut and BEFORE mine. ;-)
