According to the weatherman, today was the wettest of 2015. One of the windiest, too, I think! Still some leaves on the trees, though; I took the photo below at church today.
Dicey's sweater is coming along. I think she'll appreciate the added warmth, although now that we have a working heat pump, we can take the chill off the house without building a fire. Our weather has been such that a fire is overkill, but without some sort of supplemental heat, the inside can get to feeling as damp and cool as the outside.
Tonight when we got home, all was dark and we could hear the hum of a neighbor's generator. Lit a bunch of candles and fed animals by flashlight, then the lights came back on. Just in time to mess with the clocks. Oy.
That's it for now from . . .

Awesome sweater! Glad things seem to be settling down a bit :-).
Good shot. It should have felt warm by holding the sweater...
The fall colors are soooo beautiful in your photo. You still haven't lost all your leaves??? Wow.
That's going to be a fancy, warm sweater!
Beautiful fall colors! Maybe I could learn to knit a sweater for Caramel.

Thanks, Sara. If I were you, this would be a full-sized adult sweater, not a chihuahua sweater! ha!
Thanks, WW; I'm wearing my Mr. Brownjeans cardigan knit from the same yarn right now, and it's feeling very friendly. ;-)
I'm sure you could, Pam! I'm learning and honing skills on this project, that's for sure.
