Besides extra responsibilities, there have been some personal rapids to navigate (no, not with the adolescent for a change!). When the going gets rough, some take to the therapist's couch. Brian saw me laying on the floor yesterday morning and came in to make sure I was okay –
This morning brought a bit of a reprieve when I learned I didn't need to report to my regular part-time job. So I'm doing the cleaning and cooking that I thought I wouldn't have time for this week. I also managed to capture one of my favorite morning views:
No, not a dramatic dawn; the sun was already above the horizon to the right of this. But I love the way the clouds/fog lay low in the valley. Sometimes it is thick enough that it appears to be a vast sea, sometimes dotted with islands if the tips of the tallest trees are visible.
That's it for now from . . .

LOL! I've been spending a lot of time with my therapists....
Glad you've got a wee bit of a respite, of sorts.
The Diva is going to be so snug in her sweater.
Dog Therapy! A well used method in our house and my adult children's homes. Between my two kids they have 3 dogs - and sometimes they (the dogs) are "working" full" time at their therapy duties. I have considered getting them jackets that identify them to the world as working dogs!
There is nothing better than some critter time! Your wee one is very lucky. The coat pattern is beautiful. It's Friday, here's wishing you a wonderful weekend!
I love the calmness of lying on the floor with a dog...facing each other and enjoying the moment. Great therapy for us all.
Saying a quick prayer for you :-)
