Foggy Friday morning

Fog greeted me as I headed out to do chores this morning:
I love fog. It's cool and damp and mysterious, and dramatically changes the look of my world. My outlook was probably enhanced by a decent night's sleep, thanks to the cooler temperature.

Brian decided it was cold enough to don his hand knits – fish hat, fingerless mitts, and slipper socks. The fingerless mitts came off while practicing piano; you can see them sitting on top of the half wall.

Both our little tractors and our ancient manure spreader have been getting a workout. Rick and Brian finished the job this morning, leaving just enough of the well-composted stuff to add to the garden next spring. But the Sheep Sheraton is in desperate need of cleaning, so hopefully we will soon have another pile composting soon.

That's it for today from . . .

Fog has always been anxiety-producing for me. I don't know why, but I'm really spooked by it. Growing up in SoCal, we had June Gloom - fog for at least a month. It burned off by late morning (unlike the fogs of Oregon!), but it sure made the drive to work a bit scary. Glad you're getting the poop scooped!

Love your tractor and spreader!

I also like the fog, and an added bonus is the views of wineries and construction are hidden.

Fog is so mysterious...and it changes the way things sound. I love Brian's fish hat! We've had 'winter' mornings lately, so I've broken out the wool socks.
