Dealing with it

Life, that is.

Dahlias help.

So does a good (all things being relative) night's sleep . . . and a hot drink . . . and a boy who is trying a little harder today to cooperate . . . and especially parents who always have your back. (I'm much better today, Mom and Dad. Love you!)

That's it for today from . . .

Glad you're feeling better! Everybody has a bit of a meltdown occasionally. :) When the boys get to be a bit unruly, Justin has a saying..."let the beatings begin"! I know I had my share of those while growing up. But, by Brian's age, I just knew better than to be too argumentative. Let's hope he wises up soon. Your dahlias are gorgeous!!! I'm ready to say good-bye to the super heat as well, but not quite ready for the rains to begin. Autumn is lovely and I'm ready. Oh, I found Eagle's boots!!!!! Get this. In my car, backseat on the floor. I have no idea why, or how they got there. A mystery, but I'm so happy!! Did Rick tell you we're going whitewater rafting this Sunday? I can't wait!!

Lovely pictures of the Dahlias! Very well done! Yes, those dabs of beauty are wonderful reminders that all is well.

Thank you for inspiring me to plant Dahlias for next year-I've forgotten how beautiful they are!

It's amazing what a good night's sleep and a cooperative teen can do in helping one's outlook.

One of these years I need to plant Dahlia's they're such a lovely late summer, autumn color treat.

Sometimes it's the flowers that keep me going.
