Look at him out there, ain't he pretty?
And there's his wife.

A gold-crowned sparrow waits his turn.
(Today's earworm might be a little old for most of you.)

I thought you were going to have one on your shoulder. Does that make me old?
Beautiful shots.
Zip A Dee Doo-Dah!
Actually, the title and first line are from an old song sung by Doris Day called "There's a Bluebird on Your Windowsill."
So pretty where you are. We're getting a few birds in now and lots of quail. I looked out the window tonight and saw quail and a cottontail together under the feeder. It did my heart good.
I would like to see a bluebird. We are supposed to have them here, but I've never seen one.
Such small, beautiful birds! Lovely pix, too.
All my gold finches have turned back to their summer yellow. The doves have been hitting the feeders like made the last couple weeks, and the robins are yanking up worms all over the place.
Beautiful shots of the birds Michelle.
