My in-laws left this afternoon; on the way home from the airport I picked up a crate in which to ship Blanche to Alaska next Monday. Yes, just Blanche. The airlines all got picky and won't ship two lambs to a crate, so Blanche has to make the long trip all by her lonesome and Bevin is still available. I'll put Bevin on the sales list I'm creating to take to Black Sheep Gathering; I'll be busy getting ready for that the next two days, along with all my usual tasks.
I haven't had a chance to take many new photos, or compose posts featuring "old" photos (from my Mexico trip). The best I can do right now is a couple of current, not-too-great candid shots of my sweet, beautiful Blanche, soon to be leaving Boulderneigh:

That's it for now at . . .

What does hay go for out your way these days?
She's so darling, how can you bear to let her go? See, this is why I don't have a flock of anything, because soon it would be a ranch.
We paid $175/ton ($6.50/bale); ouch, huh? And Adrienne, Blanche is my favorite lamb, and she is VERY hard to part with! But I know she's going to a good home, and I can't keep 'em all....
I know she's going to a good home with Suzanne. It's hard to have them go on to other farms, but that's what it's all about, isn't it?
And thank you for sending her here! I have been too busy this week too to read blogs or post on my own, but now I have a moment and can't wait to meet dear Blanche Monday night!
