Fibers and flowers for Friday

So I have been getting on my horse as often as possible and working on this:

I can't wait to take her for a spin, but I'm hopelessly monocraftual. ;-)

As for flowers, I have a rose blossom on my deck (see Instagram), and a couple stragglers in my lavender border.

And today when I was riding, I noticed a fresh new borage plant beside the arena:
