Leigh said...: That was indeed a great post. I remember those feelings years ago, when I was weary and burned out of training my children to be adults. I would remind myself to treasure the moments because one day they would end.

Tomorrow I get to go to my granddaughter's first Christmas program. It would seem that all those years were a gift to myself. My children are wonderful, responsible adults and I cherish the friendship I now have with them.

Making them my priority when they were children was more than worth it.; 12/16/15, 3:41 AM
