Portland was hotter than Houston, Miami, and Reno today – and McMinnville was even hotter. I'm ready to go underground . . . or move to the coast. Rick and Brian are already there for a church camp-out; I'm going to drive over for the day tomorrow. I sure hope this year is an anomaly, and not the new normal....
While I was waiting for it to cool off (it didn't) before doing chores tonight, the blue moon put on a show. I hope you got to enjoy it, too; the next blue moon won't happen until January 2018!
That's it for today from . . .

Yes, the moon was stunning up here tonight as well - I wondered how you were faring in the heat when The Shepherd said it was 103 in Eugene today! Yikes.
Lovely moon photos... and yes, too hot, too hot. I looked at a 30 day forecast, and it looks like August will be the same as July. Send rain!
I love all the full moons. My favorite time of the month, nightwise. Sorry you guys are so hot. I think the whole country is above normal.
The moon was beautiful here, too... and I pray for relief for all my west coast friends suffering in the heat!
