After a record-setting warm, dry spring and being teased on and off for weeks by clouds and occasional "spit in the wind," we were finally blessed with RAIN.
The ewes and lambs weren't happy to be shut in today. No, they won't melt, but a visitor was here late this afternoon looking at flock sire candidates and I figured she would rather fondle dry lambs.

Very pretty iris. That's a color we don't see around here often. Yea for the rain!
I'd gladly trade our abundance of these brown/rust iris for some other colors!
I've been sick and not much good to anyone lately, hoping to get some sheep rooed or sheared this weekend.....it's hanging off the sheep in pieces!! lol
