Whatever it is, I'll take it!

I'll take this morning's sunrise.

I'll take the rain falling outside right now.

I'll take happy hounds in front of the fire.

And I'll take the knitting mojo that's got my needles gobbling up yarn from my stash!

Today I finished the red mohair shawl for a sweet senior friend at church (2014 FO #3),
only to realize that left me nothing to knit during Brian's hour-long violin lesson this afternoon. Ack! There was no time to figure something out, so I grabbed the bag containing my one languishing project on my way out the door. Now my Lanesplitter skirt is seamed up and ready to have its waistband stitches picked up! (It's only waited since May, 2011, for me to face that seam.) And this evening, I measured and wound the little partial skein of Fiesta Boomerang I picked up years ago at Woodland Woolworks; I think there's just enough for another Gnarled Entling Warmer.

At this rate, I may get at least one of the two cardigans I want to knit done in time to wear this winter!

Feeling a little giddy with accomplishment, at . . .

We would take some rain too. We are desperate.
Love the dog photos. Bless their hearts. They are such creatures of comfort.
Stay warm and keep knitting.
Happy New Year.

Love the red wrap, like a big fuzzy hug.

I just love to get something finished that has been waiting for me to get done. Pat yourself on the back.
Lovely red wrap...I'm making a scarf for my daughter right now.. It's long and connected and she told me last night..Mom it's so cold outside you need to get it done so I can wear it.. Lovely red wrap...it should feel very welcomed on winter days like we're having! I think the doggies have it made...napping in front of a warm fire!!

Happy knitting!

Michelle, that mohair shawl is just beautiful! She will just love it - you are so sweet. And talented, to boot! I know what you mean about the knitting thing. I had a temporary chill run down my spine this morning - thinking I had no project to knit. Ha! I remembered a pair of socks on the needles, so off I go! Stay warm.

Love dogs in front of the fire - Aengus likes it there too. You'd think Lyra with no hair would hang out there too, but she prefers the bed...

Your needles are smokin'! I can't wait to see what you do next!!
