All done but the ends to weave in; one gift checked off the Christmas list! |
Got the headband done on this hat but for joining in kitchener stitch |
Almost done with the gusset on the slooow socks! |
I haven't knit since I got home. Yesterday, as I said, was a long slog with Brian. Today is going better; we spent most of the morning doing chores and then cleaning up the island bed, raking leaves, weeding, and spreading out the load of compost Rick dumped in one spot last fall. Brian was a good helper, and things look much better out there now. We'll see how schoolwork goes....
Here are some glimpses of new beauty from around the place:
Happy Spring, from . . .

You got a lot done! I just love the pattern on those socks and love, love, love the fingerless mitts. It's nice seeing spring arrive somewhere. It has not made it this far East yet. I think grape hyacinths are one of my favorite spring flowers. Thanks for the little glimpse of what's coming (hope!)
Oh my goodness, REAL spring. REAL flowers!
I envy you your talent and your spring!
Your island bed is so attractive! And your lovely spring flowers are a real boost for us with snow still covering most of the ground . . . and mud in/on the rest!
Spring has finally come. Isn't it wonderful!
Love the gloves... beautiful yarn.
Happy Easter!!
Looks like you made good use of your airline hours. I think I have gone from winter to a 3 week spring and looking like summer is on it's way already, pasture grass is already drying out at root level. We have only had 57% of average rainfall for this year and the rainy season has passed. Forecast is for a "chance" of rain this weekend, but only slight.
Love the fingerless mitts!
Those socks and mitts are awesome!!!! I also really love all your greenery. I'm jealous, everything is still dead here.
