Slices of spring

The post title popped into mind this morning as I looked down the driveway at this vertical shot of shorn sheep, cherry blossoms, and flowering maple trees.
So on my way back to the house, I looked for other "slices of spring."
This one may not look like much, but I  know it shows just how many weeds were removed from the garden yesterday by my hard-working husband. Brian even got a start on tilling!

Home, sweet home.

Such extravagance!

I spent the weekend at the coast for a Christian women's retreat. The weather couldn't have been finer, and I enjoyed many long walks on the beach. Took lots of photos, too, which will take me awhile to sort, crop, and prioritize into a short list to share.

That's it for now from beauteous . . .

Beautiful! No tree blossoms here yet, but my daffs, tulips, and hyacinth are all up!

Absolutely beautiful. No blossoms here, but it's a good thing, given the fact that winter seems to be having a growth spurt.
