
Yesterday afternoon on the way to Salem, I HAD to pull over to take some snapshots of the clouds. First I noticed the setting sun to my right:

A bit further down the road I looked left (east) and saw this:
Both views were breathtaking; my camera did not do justice to the glorious fire inside the clouds (you can double-click to biggify photos).Tonight Brian got in trouble for something, so he crawled under the couch to pout and cry some "alligator tears." Pretty soon I noticed someone else creeping under the couch to join him:

There is absolutely nothing like a boy and his puppy - it's a wonderful time-tested chemistry. I was wondering how you had fared with all the flood waters up there.
